Tark & Co Supported the Tournament of Saaremaa Golf Lovers

Another golf tournament in the series of golf events organised annually with the support of Tark & Co was held on 17 and 18 October in Saaremaa Golf Club. Regardless of the rainy weather, more than sixty golf lovers took part in the event.
On 17 October, a team competition in greensome style was held (greensome is a competition format where the best ball is played over the entire course and the team that uses the fewest number of strokes wins). Ten teams succeeded to complete the tournament with less than 100 strokes. The competition was won by the tandem of Kersti Klaas and Peeter Rauniste with a score of 93. Martti Viirand together with Ivars Grunte, partner with the TLS Alliance Latvian firm, took the 5th place with 98 strokes. Tiit Säga with his team-mate, Tark & Co partner Risto Vahimets, came 17th with 106 strokes. On 18 October, golf was played by individual players in Stableford format. Risto Vahimets was the winner in the men’s handicap 0-36 category with a score of 18; in the ladies category, Marin Kiipus was the best with a total of 17. In the handicap 36,1-54 category, Joel Adul was the best among male golfers with a score of 22 and Kaire Kastor was the winner among ladies with 15 points. In the juniors category, both participating golfers, Ott Johann Post and Karl Aru, scored 13 points.
TLS Alliance has a tradition of supporting and organising an annual golf competition for its friends and business partners. Last year an international golf tournament, which was very successful and attracted a great number of participants, was held in the reputable Ozo Golf Club in Latvia.
