Insolvency and Restructuring
Our experts specialising in company restructuring and insolvency assist companies and creditors of companies that have run into difficulties in the protection of their rights and interests, with the aim of recovering or retaining assets or control over assets, including the filing of possible claims and defending against claims related to the personal liability of company directors. Our insolvency experts work closely together with banking and finance lawyers to protect creditor interests and also work out practical solutions for debtors. Our lawyers have participated in addressing close-out netting and other bankruptcy-sensitive issues in connection with financial institutions and drafted respective parts of bankruptcy rules. We have worked for the central bank in administering insolvency proceedings of an Estonian credit institution.
